Plastic Surgery can be a fantastic confidence builder but sometimes the scars that it leaves behind can become an issue. DermaEraze Microneedling for plastic surgery scars, emerges as an effective and active solution. DermaEraze promotes skin healing and restoration. Surgery scars are permanent, but by using DermaEraze plastic surgery scar treatment. Their appearance can be softened by up to 80%.
DermaEraze works by creating precision trauma on the affected area. This sends a signal to the brain activating collagen production and stimulating fluids to the area. This aids in reparing the trauma…..the scar….is then repaired as a by product of the trauma.
DermaEraze plastic surgery scar treatment will not magically make the scar vanish….what it will do is two-fold. It will soften the scar tissue making it less obvious AND it will induce your own body to re-pigment the scar to the colour of the rest of your skin, so that they become nearly unnoticeable. This makes treating plastic surgery scars far easier than with lasers. It is also a more natural way to treat the scar, allowing your body to repair itself.
Sometimes little pieces of skin and fat can become apparent on the sides of the Tummy Tuck scars. These are commonly known as dog ears. In extreme cases, Dog Ears will require surgery. However, a combination of DermaEraze Scar Treatment and Fat Dissolving Injections can dramatically improve the area.
Active Steps in DermaEraze Microneedling for Plastic Surgery Scars:
DermaEraze plastic surgery scar treatment works on old scars just as well as on newer ones. However, if you’re looking at this page in order to have a plan to minimise your scars before you have surgery or shortly after, our favourite trick (that will keep you from needing us) is using Silicone Scar Gel Sheets from a week or two after surgery. There are a lot of expensive silicone gels that you can buy, however, Silicone Scar Gel Sheets are what we have seen make the biggest difference. You can find more detailed information on what you can do at home to reduce scars here.
In the case that your scars are raised, it may be necessary to use DermaEraze along with Injections. If your scars are red of pigmented we may need to use some gentle lasers.
We may use dermal fillers to address the indentation element of the scar if your scars are indented. DermaEraze will often help with indented scars but some are worse than other and a little soft filler does the trick beautifully.
We take a lot of pride in getting fast results for you. You should be able to see an improvement from the very first treatment.
Educating patients about scar management and setting realistic expectations is crucial and we encourage you to book a free video consultation with Lorena HERE.
