What is DermaEraze and how does it work?

DermaEraze is a targeted for of Microneedling which is also known as collagen induction therapy. It’s is a non-surgical procedure that involves the use of fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. These controlled injuries stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins essential for skin regeneration and repair. By triggering the skin’s natural healing response, DermaEraze microneedling promotes the formation of new, more elastic and healthy tissue. Leading to smoother texture and improved appearance of scars.

DermaEraze can often work to re pigment the scar tissue. Which plays a huge role in making the scar. less noticeable.

Is DermaErase your only treatment for accident scar removal?

Scars are incredibly complex to treat. All scars are different and will require, most often than not, a combination of treatments and a multi disciplinary approach is the only way to treat different aspects of the scar in order to minimise it.

Dermal Fillers:

If the scar is indented, we can use dermal fillers to bring it flush with the rest of the skin. We slowly inject a soft filler under the scar until we compensate for the volume lost as a result of the injury. Fillers are incredibly useful with scars that are indented through loss of fat or muscle.

Cortisol Injections

If the scar bumpy or has grown outside of it’s border like Keloid scars, we can use Cortisol injection to help the process of flattening them. Sometimes a combination of injections and DermaEraze in the same session has given us great results.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is how we work with the colour of the scar as opposed to texture. We use our gentle lasers on all skin tones, helping with red scars and hypo-pigmentation.

I had my second session of laser removal eyeliner tattoo with her yesterday (08.08.24) in her new clinic.i flew all the way from Norway to had this procedure done. My eye-liner pigment migration was one of the worst and complicated, Lorena had to deal with. After the first session of erasing the migration and correction of the eye liner, the results were unexpectedly good and I was over the moon. My endless masking make-up was nearly finished. The laser session was not as bad as I expected, the laser beams are painful, depending on the intensity, lasting only a few seconds. However, Lorena talked through and showed a mother's empathy. My eyes were sore for 1 day, but no bruising. I need another session....in a few weeks, and my 14-year botched eye liner will be over. I highly recommend Lorena and I can't thank enough.
