The procedure is quick and virtually painless. Bruising is rare (sometimes happens) and you will be with us for no more than an hour.

How long do cheek fillers last?

Cheek fillers generally last anywhere from 8 to 18 months. We like to see you after 8 months for a top up. This can be done on video to see if you are due for a top up.

Do cheek fillers lift your face?

YES! So much of the sagging skin that happens with age is because of the volume loss that happens in the cheeks and cheek bones. Having filler in this area means that you will lift the entire face, including jowls and nasal labial folds. In fact, very often it gives a lift to the neck as well.

How much filler is recommended for Cheeks and Cheek Bones?

Does having cheek fillers look natural?

This always depends on the person injecting you. We work by reconstructing what was once there therefore giving you a youthful natural look that you once had. Overfilling happens because practitioners over inject over time. Not everyone needs a top up after 6 months. In fact, most of our clients come every 18 months. Good natural work lasts.

Is having cheek filler a good idea?

We recommend most people over the age of 35, that are looking tired and gaunt to have this procedure as a first course of action. It’s the procedure that will give you the most lift.

Do cheek fillers change your smile?

Two weeks is the magic time. By week 2, the fillers would have settled and any swelling will be gone.

Consultation
During the initial consultation, Lorena will look at your facial anatomy, discusses your goals, and develops a bespoke treatment plan. She will tailor the treatment uniquely to your needs and preferences.
Pre treatment preparation
Prior to the procedure, we will ask you to not take Aspirin, Ibuprofin, ginseng, Vitamin E or drink alcohol 24 hour prior. You can take Arnica if you’re prone to bruising.
Treatment
The treatment area is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream may be applied to minimise discomfort. The filler is then injected into strategic points along the cheekbones using a fine needle. Lorena carefully places the filler to achieve optimal volume and contouring.
After care
After the procedure, patients may experience mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness in the treated area. which typically resolves within a few days. Applying cold compresses and avoiding strenuous activities can help with side effects. No extraneous excising for 48 hour or saunas/steam rooms.

My eye-liner pigment migration was one of the worst and complicated, Lorena had to deal with. After the first session of erasing the migration and correction of the eye liner, the results were unexpectedly good and I was over the moon. My endless masking make-up was nearly finished. The laser session was not as bad as I expected, the laser beams are painful, depending on the intensity, lasting only a few seconds. However, Lorena talked through and showed a mother's empathy. My eyes were sore for 1 day, but no bruising. I need another session....in a few weeks, and my 14-year botched eye liner will be over. I highly recommend Lorena and I can't thank enough.
