What is a Nonsurgical Face lift?
A nonsurgical facelift is a procedure designed to temporarily refresh, firm, or plump the skin on the face without the need for large incisions, general anesthesia, or overnight hospital stays. It encompasses a variety of minimally invasive and nonsurgical techniques to achieve its rejuvenating effects.
The Difference Between Nonsurgical vs. Surgical Face lifts
While surgical facelifts involve incisions to tighten facial skin, nonsurgical counterparts use minimally invasive techniques. Surgical procedures require general anesthesia and overnight hospitalization, providing more permanent results, whereas nonsurgical treatments yield short-term effects. Regular top ups will keep the effects much longer. Expectations are important. Non surgical facelifts will not ever have the same results as surgery. However, they are a very good option for those than wish to look younger without surgery or don’t want to risk bad surgery scars. Also, the price point will be much lower than surgery.
How do we do a Non Surgical face lift?
Our non surgical facelift is a procedure that is customised to each person’s need’s and usually compromises a combination of technologies. Perfect for those that absolutely do not want to go down the road of surgery but still want to turn back the clock and look rested. We are often able to turn that clock back ten years without the need and risks of a scalpel.
Techniques used to achieve a non surgical face lift can include:
Dermal Fillers : Much of the sagging that we see associated with age has to do with loss of volume rather than skin condition. By placing Dermal Fillers in key areas for our non surgical facelift, we are able to achieve an instant lift. Fillers give you instant results with very little trauma. The recovery time is very fast with minor swelling for a couple of days.
PDO Threads: Threads are used when skin texture need to be addressed. Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are a type of thread lift procedure used in aesthetic medicine for non-surgical facelifts and skin rejuvenation. These threads are made from a biocompatible synthetic material called polydioxanone, which is also used in various medical sutures. The threads are absorbable, meaning that they are eventually broken down by the body.
Fat Disolving Injections: Often, the fat we once had in our cheeks, thanks to gravity, moves to the lower part of the face and neck. This gives us a square rather than a diamond shaped face. Fat dissolving injections take care of the very root of this problem.
Our aim for you when doing a non surgical face lift
We try to get the best results using the least amount of fillers and work. The face needs to re worked from the top. We would never work on your nasal labial lines without doing your cheeks first because you would look bottom heavy. The face is a puzzle that has aged in different ways and we need to be able to turn the clock back slowly. Our aim is to give you results that with yearly top ups can last indefinitely.
Ideal Candidates for Nonsurgical Face lifts
Individuals grappling with ageing skin concerns such as sagging skin, shadows around the eyes, sunken cheeks, thin lips, and various wrinkles are prime candidates for nonsurgical facelifts. However, those with certain skin conditions or severe cosmetic issues may not be suitable candidates.
How many treatment can I expect?
Please be prepared for several sessions. Rome was not built in a day and neither should your face be. The amount of dermal filler that we will need as well as any other treatments depend on your individual needs. We need to build up and allow the swelling to go and continue to build up. Otherwise you may end up over injected and looking fake.

Risks of Nonsurgical Face lifts
While generally safe, nonsurgical facelifts carry potential risks such as bleeding, blisters, bruising, dry skin, infection, itching, lumps, peeling, scars, and swelling. This is why Lorena will be available to you after your treatment.
Recovery Expectations
Post-treatment, individuals may experience mild pain, swelling, or bruising, but these typically subside after a few days. Cold packs, ointments, and pain relievers can aid recovery, and most can resume normal activities shortly after the procedure.
Duration of Results and Maintenance for non surgical face lift
Results vary, with some procedures needing repetition every few months, while others offer longer-lasting effects. Regular treatments, coupled with a consistent skincare routine involving cleansing, moisturising, sun protection, and antioxidant-rich products, contribute to maintaining results. In general we like to see you back for a top up every 8 months to a year. Top ups are not doing the entire job all over again. Top ups are just that. Placing small quantities where needed.
