Welcome to the premier clinic for Permanent Makeup (PMU) Removal in Egypt, located at our Hurghada Marina branch. Under the expert guidance of world-renowned skin and laser pioneer Lorena Öberg, we offer the safest, most advanced solutions to erase microblading mistakes, unwanted eyebrow tattoos, migrated eyeliner, and lip blushing disasters.
If you are struggling with a مايكروبليدنج (microblading) job that turned red, pink, or an ashy blue, or if you are simply unhappy with the shape done at a local صالون تجميل (beauty salon), you are not alone. We are here to restore your skin to its natural state without causing scarring or destroying your natural brow hair.
Why Choose Our Clinic for PMU Removal التاتو in Egypt?
Global Expertise on Egyptian Soil: Lorena Öberg is a world leader in the field, regularly lecturing at international conferences and writing for medical journals on safe pigment extraction.
Bespoke, Skin-Safe Lasers: We utilize custom-built Q-Switched Nd:YAG lasers. Unlike standard lasers, our equipment is fully calibrated to be safe on Egyptian, Mediterranean, and darker skin tones without causing hyperpigmentation or تصبغات (skin discoloration).
Guaranteed Brow Hair Safety: We prioritize your natural beauty. Our advanced laser protocols target only the ink molecules, meaning your natural brow hair will not be burned or permanently lost.
Multi-Disciplinary Approaches: We don’t just rely on lasers. We combine laser treatments with advanced non-laser methods like إزالة التاتو بالمحلول الملحى (Saline removal) and Glycolic Acid protocols to tackle stubborn, non-laser-reactive pigments.
We successfully treat and fade old block tattoos, uneven shapes, and color-shifted pigments (brows that have faded into unnatural shades of orange, pink, or gray).
Lorena is a world-class authority on removing cosmetic eyeliner and treating eyeliner migration (ink bleeds around the delicate eye area). This highly sensitive procedure is performed with maximum medical-grade eye protection.
Emergency PMU Removal (إزالة التاتو الطارئة)
Did you just get your brows done today and absolutely hate them? Do not wait. If we treat the area within the first 48 hours using our specialized non-laser extraction protocols, we can achieve up to an 80% success rate in the very first session before the ink settles.
Is it possible to completely remove a brow tattoo التاتو?
For the most part, yes. While no practitioner can guarantee 100% clearance, we routinely achieve an 80% to 90% fading rate. Older tattoos made with traditional inks are far easier to remove (sometimes fading in 1–2 sessions), whereas modern, next-generation pigments require more persistence.
Will I lose my natural eyebrow hair?
Absolutely not. When performed by our experts, your hair follicles remain perfectly safe. While the heat from the laser might temporarily turn existing brow hairs white, they will shed and grow back to their normal color, stronger than before, within 4 to 6 weeks.
How many sessions will I need?
On average, it takes between 3 to 10 treatments. The exact number depends on how deep the technician placed the ink, how many times you had رتوش (touch-ups) done over the years, and the chemical composition of the pigment used.
Can I get a new Microblading treatment after removal?
Yes. If you wish to redo your brows with a more professional technician, you absolutely can. However, you must wait at least 6 weeks after your final removal session to ensure the skin is completely healed.
Is PMU التاتو removal safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
As a strict precautionary safety measure, we do not perform laser or chemical removal on clients who are pregnant or nursing.
For the most part YES. What no one can guarantee is 100% removal. Most technicians are comfortable offering an 80% removal over several treatments. Some cases need more such as newer brows done with the New Generation Pigments wilst older brows made with traditional pigments are far easier to remove. Some older brows that have gone blue can be removed with one laser treatment. Newer brows may require a combination of laser and non laser treatments.
No. Not if we perform the treatment. The combination of our gentle bespoke Q Switched ND Yag lasers and Lorena’s vast experience will mean that your hair follicles are safe. In fact, dormant follicles are often shaken back to life by the controlled trauma to the area. Some of the hairs that you have on your brow already may turn white as a result of the procedure but worry not, they will all grow back withing 4 to 6 weeks stronger than ever.
The amount of treatments, and therefore length of the removal procedure will vary due to several factors. – The type of pigment used. The newer pigments on the market are permanent as opposed to semi permanent and they will require far more treatments. – The age of the PMU. Older work will come out far more easily because it will have a lower molecule saturation. – The type of skin. Some skin holds pigment more than others. – Type of removal being used. We use both laser and non laser methods and will use what ever will make the situation easier. – How deep the tattoo was placed at the time of the procedure. We can usually remove Permanent Makeup in 3 to 10 treatments.
If permanent makeup goes away is a complex question. Rarely does it fade to the point where it’s no longer visible to the naked eye. However, it can fade until it’s barely there. Lorena has written a very detailed blog on the subject HERE.
The fading of PMU is down to a few factors. – The ink used: Traditional inks were made to fade. If you have been left with peachy, pink or orange brows after a few years post treatment you have traditional pigments. These pigments are very easy to remove by a professional. If New Generation Inks have been used, the tattoo will stay true to colour for a lot longer and it’s likely to fade to grey. – Skin Type: Oily skin tends to not hold pigment as long as dry skin. – How deep the pigment was implanted is what is going to be the main variable as to if your permanent makeup fades. Pigment that was implanted deeply tends to be permanent. Lorena has written a detailed blog on permanent makeup fading HERE.
The word on the street is 3 years. The word in our clinic is that it can last for ever. What we do know for certain is that what ever you have at year 3 is what you will have indefinitely. If you’re waiting for it to fade more after year 3, you may be very disappointed.
If you have only just had your brows done, it’s normal that they will look very dark. The healing process will do 2 things. 1. It will scab off leaving a much softer colour behind. 2. Your skin will grow over the brow which will tone done the colour even more. Your skin colour will act as a filter for the colour. If you are really uncomfortable, send us a clear photo on our Whatapp on the bottom of the screen and we will give you our honest opinion. Most of the time it’s absolutely fine.
Firstly you need to be very clear about what it is that you don’t like about your shape. Is it too thick? Does it come in too much at the nose? Are the tails to long? At this point it may be useful to get a second opinion but it is always a good idea to go back to your technician to see what solutions they can offer you. The most important thing to be aware of, is that tattooing flesh colour pigment on top of the mistake to hide is not a solution. Getting the ink out of the skin is the only answer. Hiding the problem under more ink is not a long term solution and makes removal an absolute nightmare for permanent makeup removal professionals.
Exfoliating with fine sea salt at home has always been one of our secret weapons and we are thrilled that more and more people are aware of this hack. It will never remove all of it but it will remove A LOT. Whilst it may not be visible to the naked eye, it can cut laser sessions down by half. Read more in our detailed blog HERE.
Because it’s meant to. The point is never to have something permanently tattooed on your face, even if this is what often happens. Pigments used to be purposely made to break down and fade (new pigments don’t do this) and a good tech tattoos very lightly on the skill allowing the natural skin shed to aid to the fading. Fashions change and so should your Permanent Makeup
Yes you can. You need to allow a minimum of six weeks before you do. Your skin will thank you for it and your results will be nicer on fully healed skin
No, but you may be self conscious about swelling and redness that could persist for a couple of days. However, you can get on with your daily activities immediately.
Although it’s a very low risk procedure, we are not fully aware of how the ink is expelled though the body. For this reason, and as a precaution, we do not touch anyone pregnant or breastfeeding.
Yes. This is where experience counts when working on dark skin tones. We have seen this quite a bit coming from other clinics but we are very aware of how to work on dark skin tones. Lorena has written a detailed blog on Permanent Makeup Removal on Dark Skin. You can read it HERE.
Yes, we can target very small areas of the brow with Lorena’s expert steady hand. However, most of the time when we get this request, the reality is that the entire brow needs to come off.
Yes it can. We do need to consider that on overly saturated brows you may not see any visual results for the first 2 to 3 treatments. We will get through the pigment with perseverance.
Sometimes results can be seen instantly but other times the body needs time to expel the molecules. We know that the areas will continue to fade for 8 weeks or even longer. We ask that you have patience to allow your lymphatic system to do it’s thing.
We have had great success with non laser methods extracting the ink safely. However, we need a very detailed consultation and treatment plan in order to not cause further problems. We need to do this under medical supervision.
Often, permanent ink can be easier to remove than PMU ink, specially if it’s low quality. We will do a test patch and tell you immediately what treatment you will need. Usually laser will work well but we may need to use non laser removal methods as well.
Yes, in fact, the older the tattoo the easier it is to remove. This is because the ink concentration will be a lot lower due to general time related fading as well as lower quality pigments being used.
Individuals with certain skin conditions or medical concerns may need to consult with a healthcare provider before undergoing permanent makeup removal. Conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or a history of keloid scarring may require special considerations.
Permanent Makeup Removal Aftercare (العناية بعد الجلسة)
Keep the treated area completely dry and do not touch it for the first 24 hours.
Apply a very thin layer of the specialized aftercare cream provided by our clinic 2 to 3 times a day.
Do not panic if the color looks darker at first. Red or pink brows will instantly turn dark gray or black after the first laser session. This is a scientific sign that the laser has successfully shattered the heavy metals in the ink. Fading will become visible over the next 6 to 8 weeks as your body’s lymphatic system naturally flushes out the pigment.
